  The food was great and the staff were very nice too when my family and I visited. Prices were very reasonable considering that this pub is so close to Caerphilly Castle. The view is great too (big castle across moat!)

  Friendly Staff. Nice place to come for a drink after walking around the castle! The food is quite cheap and tasty too.

  Get thrown out of this pub for being slightly drunk on a Saturday night, security staff start being funny if they are suspicious of you, get refused alcohol at the bar for being too "drunk" after just two drinks, get accused of using cocaine on the premesis if you spend two minutes too long in the toilets, and some of the people who go there are nothing but trouble, I'm a local and last weekend a good friend of mine had his jaw broken in this pub, says it all really, this place is sketchy. Other than it's bad points it's not really a bad pub to stop in for a couple of drinks.
